Looking Back on 2025: A Year on the Ground with WA Farmers

As the year comes to a close, it’s a good moment to pause — not just to look ahead, but to reflect on what this past year has been like for farmers, contractors, and rural businesses across Western Australia.

2025 has been a year of contrasts. Challenging weather patterns. Tight windows. Long days. Hot finishes. Through it all, the same steady determination that keeps WA agriculture moving forward year after year.

At De Rosa’s Highway Motors, we’ve spent the year doing what we’ve always done — staying close to the ground, listening first, and supporting our customers through whatever the season delivered.

A Season That Kept Everyone on Their Toes

This year reminded us all how quickly conditions can change. From delayed starts to intense heat at the tail end of the year, many operations had to stay flexible and adapt fast.

What stood out most wasn’t just the machinery or the hectares covered — it was the resilience. Farmers adjusting plans, maintaining equipment under pressure, and finding ways to keep things moving despite the unpredictability.

That resilience is something we see every day, and it’s something we’re proud to support.

More Than Machines

While tractors, implements, parts and servicing are at the core of what we do, the past year reinforced something important — it’s the people behind the machines that matter most.

Throughout 2025, we’ve had countless conversations at the counter, in the workshop, on the phone, and out in the paddock. Some quick. Some long. Some about breakdowns. Others just about how things are travelling.

Those moments matter. They’re what turn a dealership into part of the local fabric, not just a supplier.

Staying Local, Staying Reliable

One thing that hasn’t changed is our focus on being dependable.

When equipment needs attention, when parts are needed quickly, or when advice matters, reliability isn’t a bonus — it’s essential. We’ve continued to invest in making sure our parts, service, and support remain consistent and responsive, even during the busiest periods of the year.

Because in agriculture, timing isn’t flexible — and neither should support be.

Looking Ahead to the Year to Come

As we head into the new year, we’re not making big promises or bold predictions.

What we can say is this: we’ll keep showing up. We’ll keep listening. We’ll keep backing the WA farming community with practical support, honest advice, and machinery solutions that make sense for local conditions.

From everyone at De Rosa’s Highway Motors, thank you for your support, your conversations, and your trust throughout the year.

Here’s to a safe, steady, and productive year ahead

x

The De Rosa Team
